Scott Cline
Chief Transformation Officer
Scott Cline serves as the Chief Transformation Officer for Holden Conner, where he is responsible for driving enterprise-wide strategy execution, operational excellence, and long-term value creation across the company’s diversified portfolio.
Raised in the small farm town of Erie, Illinois, Scott developed an early appreciation for agriculture, hard work, and community. Shortly after high school, he joined the US Armed Forces, serving nine years on active duty in a variety of leadership and operational roles, including service with the National Security Agency. His military experience provided a foundation in disciplined execution, global perspective, and leadership under pressure.
After completing active duty, Scott followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by joining John Deere. Over a 14-year career, he held senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, and financial services within the Ag & Turf, Construction & Forestry and Financial Services divisions. His experience spanned domestic and international assignments, including roles working alongside the dealer channel and within manufacturing operations.
In 2015, Scott joined Rabo AgriFinance, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of US Regional Business. In this role, he led large, geographically diverse teams and managed a multibillion-dollar portfolio supporting agricultural producers and agribusinesses across the country.
Scott holds a BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He also completed the Executive Leadership Consortium’s Global Leadership 2030 program at Dartmouth College. A trained military linguist with extensive overseas experience, Scott speaks Spanish, Arabic and French.
He has three children: Carter, a Mechanical Engineer in Florida; Chloe a junior at the University of Evansville; and Ethan, a sophomore at Iowa State University. In his free time, Scott enjoys exploring the outdoors with his kids, particularly hiking throughout the US National Park system.
